Our Mission
The Middle Road Volunteer Fire Department is dedicated to serving our community by providing the highest quality of Fire, Rescue and Emergency Medical Services. Our members are highly motivated to serve and have a positive impact on the community in which we live. Each member no matter how young or old brings valuable specialties and skills to the Department. 

Training is a key component of Middle Road's core ideology. All members are required to attend the Pennsylvania State Fire Academy in order to preform structural Firefighting. Line Officers fall into another category and are required to obtain further Fire Academy training focused on leadership, incident command, 
and firefighting. Members frequently attend other classes to advance their skills in firefighting, rescue, as well as EMS. Middle Road also sponsors weekly scheduled training to review firefighting tactics and procedures.
